The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

Offered at all RNN Group campuses, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a nationally recognised programme for young people aged 14–24.

Participants can earn Bronze, Silver, or Gold while taking on new challenges, building independence, and creating lasting memories.

Start your journey with new adventures, skill-building, and growing confidence in yourself.

• Ages: 14+
• Duration: Minimum 6 months
• Sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, Expedition
• Expedition: 2 days, 1 night, group of 4–7
• Residential: Not required

Push your limits further by taking on deeper challenges and broadening your experiences.

• Ages: 15+ (or 14 if Bronze completed)
• Duration: Minimum 6 months (if Bronze done), else 12 months
• Sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, Expedition
• Expedition: 3 days, 2 nights, group of 4–7
• Residential: Not required

Reach your full potential through independence, leadership, and making a lasting impact.

• Ages: 16+
• Duration: Minimum 12 months (if Silver done), else 18 months
• Sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, Expedition, Residential
• Expedition: 4 days, 3 nights, group of 4–7
• Residential: 5 days, 4 nights with new people
