Daniel brings 20 years of extensive experience working within social care and demonstrating a deep commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals. Daniel’s career began with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), where he gained valuable insights into public service systems and processes. He later transitioned into roles within social care, where he managed complex caseloads, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to those in need.
Daniel’s work has involved safeguarding vulnerable individuals, conducting thorough risk assessments, and playing an active role in Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) and Child in Need (CIN) meetings. These responsibilities honed his ability to collaborate effectively within multi-agency teams, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care planning. He has consistently worked to balance the needs and rights of individuals with the broader requirements of safeguarding and risk management.
In addition, Daniel served as a director of a charity dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities. This leadership role allowed him to contribute strategically to service development while ensuring that the organisation delivered meaningful support tailored to individuals’ needs.
Now, as a teacher, Daniel is committed to passing on his knowledge and experience to inspire and equip others to make a positive impact in health and social care.
