HE Hardship Support

The Higher Education Hardship Fund is available for our Higher Education (HE) learners. You will need to complete a HE Hardship application form, which are available from our Student Support receptions or by following the link below. You will need to provide evidence of household income and proof that you have accessed maintenance loans.

The fund is available to help any eligible student who has a particular financial need but we cannot support every application received and may only meet some of the costs that students can apply for. To ensure we can help the maximum number of learners, we offer a one-off support payment of up to £300 depending on specific circumstances.

There is also a £200 DSA Laptop Grant available to eligible learners.

To speed up your application, please include information of your living arrangements – this can be added as an evidence document.
