As a Chartered Accountant, Conal worked in industry for several years including laboratories, public services, insolvency and the training industry. These roles were junior roles up to Financial Controller.
Conal decided to go into teaching as a way to inform peoples’ lives and give them choices – the choices that he did not necessarily have growing up.
Working in insolvency didn’t give Conal the opportunity he needed to help people, if anything, I felt as if I was part of the problem, hence, he pursued a teaching role.
Through a nurturing, engaging and fun approach, RNN Group have secured Gold Accredited status with ACCA and offers a variety of ACCA qualifications from level 2, right up the strategic professional papers at levels 6 and 7. There are amazing opportunities locally and indeed nationally for finance professionals, it is Conal’s job to assist getting them there.
