Lydia’s lifelong learning journey began at our Rotherham Campus from being a school leaver. She studied Beauty Therapy Level 2 and Level 3 and the training received by the organisation provided her with the opportunity to work successfully in the hair and beauty industry for many years.

This enabled Lydia to pass on her skills and experience onto the next generation of trainees, on her return to the organisation in 2011 to undertake her assessor qualification. Encouragement from her mentors led Lydia into studying her teaching qualification validated by Huddersfield University.

Lydia has lectured in beauty therapy and managed the Rotherham Campus’s Inspire Hair and Beauty Salon reception whilst studying her BA (Hons) in Education and Professional development validated by Hull University, and in latter years has been Interim Curriculum Team Leader for the Hair and Media Make-up team.

Lydia continues to develop her industry and academic skills every year and is looking forward to what the following year brings.
