Education and Professional Development Lead

Sarah is a highly experienced educationalist with a background in primary, further, and higher education.

Before specialising in teacher education, she worked extensively with young people with special educational needs and served as an Autism Schools Inclusion Advisor, successfully managing the reintegration of pupils following periods of exclusion. She is committed to fostering inclusive learning environments and ensuring all learners have access to high-quality education.

As Education and Professional Development Lead for the RNN Group’s Education and Professional Development suite of programmes, Sarah oversees and teaches on the MA in Education and Professional Development, the BA (Hons) in Education and Professional Development, the Foundation Degree in Learning Support, and the Initial Teacher Education programmes. She believes in the transformational power of education, supporting learners in developing critical thinking skills and professional growth.

Sarah’s research interests include neurodiverse pedagogy and social justice, reflecting her commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments where all learners can thrive.
