National Careers Week 2024

The RNN Group is celebrating National Careers Week this week with a number of activities across the Group and it’s campuses.

Progress coaches have been provided with information, events and activities for this week and have accessed the National Careers Week website to review the schedule of events taking place throughout the week in terms of live and recorded broadcasts to identify the appropriate ones for individuals and groups to benefit from.  This website also has various lessons and activities that progress coaches have downloaded (based upon the specific needs of each group) to support the above.

Extra support

To complement the videos and information above, the careers team are also offering bespoke and specific support to learners on a one to one and small group basis throughout the week.

National Careers Week are also putting on a Virtual Careers Week in which learners can access online careers information every day this week.

Year round careers support

Careers support is a year round activity, so RNN Group careers staff will build on this week’s activities over the next few weeks and hold a careers event in the next few months at which local employers in a variety sectors will come along for students to talk to and find out more about that employer and a route to employment.
