ACCA (FIA) Diploma in Accounting and Business

The ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business is the highest level of ACCA’s Foundation in Accounting suite of qualifications.

This course provides a solid platform for progression onto the Final Chartered papers.

Completion of the qualification and two research modules allows students to apply for the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) status. This emphasises professional insight and attainment.

Finance Officer

Finance Officers help to manage the finances of an organisation by overseeing book-keeping, general accounting and other financial and related clerical functions.

Day-to-day tasks**

Recording financial transactions on computer systems
Producing financial forecasts and carrying out financial audits
Dealing with payroll, invoices, expenses and VAT
Resolving payment queries for external contractors
Creating monthly, quarterly and annual budget reports
Presenting report findings to finance managers

Research venues, contacts and suppliers, and negotiate prices

Follow health, safety and insurance regulations
