Rotherham is Wonderful: Give Knowingly…
…and what better way to give knowingly than to have your roving reporter check out all the amazing gift shops in Rotherham for this upcoming gifting season so you know where to shop!
As you know Rotherham town centre is developing at a pace with lots of amazing new facilities and places for families and friends to enjoy, as well as gift shops for the holidays…
Whilst on my walk around Rotherham I spotted a number of fab little shops for all types of gifts to surprise your loved ones this season.
Step into Paris which can be found in the Indoor Rotherham Market. You can buy high class ladies fashions, handbags and accessories. From here, wander around the market and enjoy the hub-bub of Rotherham life and the many little stalls with a huge variety of products on offer.
As you walk through the central outdoor market area, there is a hidden street with ‘Old Town Hall’ etched into the stone arch. In here there are a number of little shops perfect for a number of people this season.
Sweet ‘n Greet is a beautiful little sweet shop for the people who have a sweet tooth in your life. Sweet ‘n Greet is a Traditional Sweet and Card shop with all the latest trends.
Woolly Madness is a shop dedicated to all things knitting including DK and Aran wools as well as chunky knits too. Crochet, cross stitch and embroidery kits can be found here too!
Dexter’s Pet Shop is perfect for the animal members of your family. Toys, treats and training gifts are available as well as the usual supplies and accessories.
Gifts by Wonky is a fabulous shop with an excellent range of gifts, gift sets (bespoke designs to meet your needs available), balloons, baby clothes and much more.
Finally Hutchy’s Treasure Trove is dedicated to pre-loved gifts for all the family.
Walking up to the Minster, and down the High Street, two shops stand out: No 26. Makers Emporium and Yella Brick Road.
No 26 Makers Emporium offers the latest pieces from local makers, designers, artists and crafters in Rotherham! Look through their window and then step into a world of Christmas and enjoy local goods for all the family.
Yella Brick Road, named after the owner who is called Daniella ‘Yella’ at College, this space houses a myriad of eclectic and unique clothes, gifts, jewellery and accessories.
Don’t forget to check out the British Heart Foundation store for a myriad of gifts all, all for charity.
Finishing back at the College, our roving reporter stepped into Rotherham College’s Salon to find out what is available for the holiday season. If you fancy giving vouchers to your loved ones for a variety of treatments, then you can do so here.
Next month, we will check out a number of green spaces to enjoy a seasonal walk!
