Student creativity set to be on display at end of year showcase
Creative Arts Festival end-of-year showcase
The countdown is on for one of the most exciting events in the college calendar – our annual Creative Arts Festival end-of-year showcase.
This vibrant celebration of student talent returns to Rotherham College on Thursday 11th June, to celebrate learners on our creative pathway courses including art, graphics and fashion, photography, media production, games animation and performing arts.
The Eastwood Building at our Rotherham campus will be transformed into an exciting exhibition space showcasing the incredible work that learners from Rotherham College and University Centre Rotherham have created throughout the academic year.
Throughout the event, guests will have the opportunity to view professional-standard portfolios and discover emerging creative talent.
From stunning artwork and innovative graphic design to cutting-edge fashion collections, captivating photography, dynamic media productions and immersive games and animation projects, come and celebrate the next generation of artists, designers, performers, photographers, filmmakers, animators and creative innovators.

There will also be live performances throughout the evening from our performance students. The Level 3 acting and musical theatre groups will be performing excerpts from their final major projects, with scenes from The Zone, Macbeth, 12 Angry Men and Guys and Dolls. While the degree students will be showcasing various sections of original material that they have comprised.
Our students have spent months developing their final projects, refining their skills and bringing their ideas to life. The Creative Arts Festival provides the perfect platform to share these achievements and recognise the remarkable talent within our college community.
So, whether you’re a current student, prospective learner, parent, supporter of the arts or member of the local community, we would love for you to join us and experience the creativity on display.
You might discover a new creative interest, find inspiration for your own projects, or simply gain a new appreciation for the skills and dedication involved in bringing an idea to life. It’s also a great opportunity to support friends, celebrate successes and experience the energy and creativity that make our College such a vibrant place to study.
