Christmas and Commercial Services @ the RNN Group

Last year, the RNN Group launched a new Commercial Services website showcasing the breadth of our services across the Group, the talents our staff and learners have, and the range of opportunities available to learners and members of the local community throughout the Group at our Rotherham Campus, North Notts Campus and Dearne Valley Campus.

The Group has four service outlets in which learners learn and perfect their trade and skills on members of the local community under the watchful and expert eyes of our industry-trained staff.

The outlets include a restaurant, gym and chain of salons.

Our restaurant at Rotherham Campus

Rotherham Campus’s Wharncliffe Restaurant, one of Rotherham’s few fine dining restaurants, begins its annual Christmas season next week. Its popular Christmas lunches and dinners are created and served by our learners supported by our expert staff.

Diners are in for a five star treat with the beautifully prepared, Michelin-worthy food that is on offer. Not only that, diners can enjoy some special events in 2025 with our first event a Burns Night on 24th and 25th January.

These events get booked up quickly so make sure to get in quick!

Our salon at Rotherham Campus

Also at Rotherham Campus is our flagship hair and beauty salon which is based less than a minutes’ walk from the centre of Rotherham and members of the public can enjoy a variety of treatments and hair appointments including microblading.

Staffed by learners under the watchful eye of staff, the salon provides excellent value for service and the opportunity for members of the local public to enjoy a treatment before dining at The Wharncliffe or enjoying a local show and performance at the theatre or Rotherham Campus’s very own performing arts centre.

Our gym at Dearne Valley College

Sports is key to our Dearne Valley Campus – a few miles up the road from Rotherham – where we have the DVC Gym which is open to members of the public and learners.

The Fitness63 gym suite is a 70-station, fully air-conditioned facility with an extensive range of cardiovascular and strength-training equipment. Not only that but the facilities surrounding the gym – sports hall, MUGA, low ropes course – are available for hire for sports such as 5-a-side and 7-a-side football, netball, basketball, badminton and many more!

Finally, at our North Notts Campus in Worksop, the brand new and updated Hair and Beauty Salon is kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment, with the calibre to match any high street salon along with a new clinical suite too!

The hair, beauty and make-up salons are the perfect destination for some well-earned ‘me time’ for members of the public providing a variety of offers at great value.
